Welcome to Villa Scalabrini |
- Villa Scalabrini is a Roman Catholic Home open to people of all denominations and walks of life.
- It was established to provide care mainly for Italian elderly, and from the beginning the Italian Community has given its full support to the project.
- The trustees are the Scalabrini Fathers (http://www.scalabrini.org), Missionaries for migrants. The Home is supported by "Sisters of the Angels", a Polish congregation of nuns who assist the management in all the activities at the Home.
- Villa Scalabrini was opened in July 1986 and can accommodate 53 elderly residents.
- Registered with Hertfordshire County Council Cert. No 146/273/98 under the terms of the National Care Standard Commission.

- Villa Scalabrini is a large detached building standing in approximately 25 acres of grounds, much of which is accessible to resident’s though attractive walkways, patios and gardens.
- There is an internal chapel and an external grotto which is located in the vast gardens.
